A town
located in the South of Poland, in a beautiful valley
of river Tabor, between a chain of mountains not very
high but nice and covered with thick forests, perfect
for a walk.
The Rymanow climate, rich in iodine, salt and essential
oils is considered very effective in treatments of respiratory
system diseases. Rymanow Zdroj is located in one of
the cleanest regions of Poland, far from any industry.
The town started to develope after the mineral springs
were discovered in 1876. Sanatorium, hotels, baths,
restaurants and some houses were built then. Rymanow
was visited by many famous patients and Polish aristocrats.
Distroyed during the Second World War, Rymanow Zdroj
has been rebuilt and now enchantes again with its beauty.
The Sanatorium situated among green trees, can satisfy
the most demanding tastes. In the forests surrounding
the valley you can take one of many touristic routes
or play tennis on one of the tennis camps in Park Zdrojowy.
In the summer you can swimm in a swimming pool and in
the winter a beautiful ice-rink will garantee a relax.
In Rymanow you can see nice wooden villas from the beginning
of the Sanatorium`s activity.
The Centre offers treatments and rehabilitation of respiratory
system diseases, circulatory system, sclerosis and corpulence.
The treatments of children include also kidney and urinary
problems.
The therapeutic institutes in Rymanow are divided in
the following specializations:
- balneotherapy (inhalation)
- hydrotherapy
- phisiotherapy
Between the treatments offered to the patients there
are: inhalations, mud masks and poultice, mineral and
pearl baths, hydromassage, massage whirlpool, ultrasounds,
ionophoresis, gymnastics, sauna, laser, magnethic therapy,
cryotherapy, light therapy, electric stimulation, sollux
lamp.
The real treasure of Rymanow Zdroj consists in its therapeutic
mineral waters Tytus, Klaudia and Celestyna, discovered
in 1876. In the summer the tourists drink them for their
health. |
