DAY 1:
Arrival in gdansk, hotel accommodation. Guided
tour of the city: the Old Town, the Church of the Blessed
Virgin Mary-one of the largest Gothic churches in the
world; the Artus Court-the wealthy burghers’ meeting
place in olden times, the Neptune Fountain. A unique
visit to an original amber workshop when you will see
how a raw amber is being processed with a traditional,
500 year old method by experienced artisans (shopping
opportunity). Organ concert at the Oliwa cathedral.
Excursion to Westerplatte Penisula, where the Second
World War started. Evening performance at the Musical
Theatre in Gdynia.
DAY 2:
Guided tour of Sopot. Ship excursion to the Hel Penisula.
The Hel Peninsula is a unique on a national scale
natural and landscape attraction and some call it
the longest pier in Europe. The width of the peninsula
varies from 100 metres in the most narrow part to
over 1 kilometer at the tip (town of Hel). Since the
peninsula was formed entirely of sand, it is frequently
turned into an island by winter storms. Clean beaches
and unique local climate with healing properties resulting
from large amounts of iodine in the air only add to
the attractiveness and beauty of the peninsula.
DAY 3:
Trip to Malbork -visit of the Teutonic Kinights Castle
and of the Museum of Amber.

LOCAL EXCURSIONS:
The Hel Penisula-boat trip to the Hel Penisula,
traditional fishing village, full of historic fisherman’s
cottages.
Oliwa-suburb of Gdansk with Cistercian Basilica
containing a famous church organ; optional:
you may have the opportunity to hear an organ recital.
Frombork- visit to the Gothic Cathedral and
Copernicus Museum located in the 14th century Bishop’s
Palace with a planetarium next door.
Malbork-visit to the Malbork castle, formerly
the mighty residence of the Grand Master of the Teutonic
Knights.
