the capital of amber

Arrival in gdansk, hotel accommodation. Guided tour of the city: the Old Town, the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary-one of the largest Gothic churches in the world; the Artus Court-the wealthy burghers’ meeting place in olden times, the Neptune Fountain. A unique visit to an original amber workshop when you will see how a raw amber is being processed with a traditional, 500 year old method by experienced artisans (shopping opportunity). Organ concert at the Oliwa cathedral. Excursion to Westerplatte Penisula, where the Second World War started. Evening performance at the Musical Theatre in Gdynia.

DAY 2:
Guided tour of Sopot. Ship excursion to the Hel Penisula. The Hel Peninsula is a unique on a national scale natural and landscape attraction and some call it the longest pier in Europe. Since the peninsula was formed entirely of sand, it is frequently turned into an island by winter storms. Clean beaches and unique local climate with healing properties resulting from large amounts of iodine in the air only add to the attractiveness and beauty of the peninsula.
