Wieliczka Salt Mine (located 15 km from Cracow, HD excursion)
Wieliczka Salt Mine works from Middle Ages being the oldest enterprise of salt industry on Polish land.
Hidden below the town, situated on 9 levels, reaching 327 m deep Wieliczka's underground that is nearly 300 km of galleries and 3000 chambers. 3,5 km route 64-135 m below ground level is available for tourists. Magnificent chapels, captivating underground lakes, original tools and equipment, traces of mining works give the comprehension about people's fight against the elements, their work, passion and beliefs. Wieliczka miners left lots of salt carvings and murals. After the sightseeing, tourists can rest in the chamber complex 125 m underground where they can find souvenir shops, restaurant and a post office. In the underground of Wieliczka Salt Mine there are organized conferences, banquets, weddings, New Years Eve Ball, concerts, sport performances…

Auschwitz-Birkenau (HD excursion) known worldwide, the city’s name is a symbol of martyrdom of the millions. It is located about 65 kilometers from Cracow. The Nazis established the Auschwitz concentration camp in April 1940. Enlarged in the subsequent years, it became a site of mass genocide. Here died 1.5 million people of 28 nationalities.

Czestochowa-Jasna Gora Monastery-(FD excursion) one of the major religious shrines in the Christian world. The monastic complex is a unique historical monument, which also contains a treasury of valuable works testifying the rich national heritage of the Polish state and culture. Adjacent to the Jasna Gora Basilica is the Chapel of the Miraculous Image which contains the famous icon, an object of particular devotion and the destination of pilgrimages. The icon is solemnly revealed for several periods during the day and during some religious celebrations.

Zakopane+Dunajec gorge (FD excursion) situated in a charming valley at the foot of the Polish Tatras, 106 km from Cracow. It is the largest winter and mountain-climbing resort in Poland. Famous not only for its pictoresque landscapes but also for its art, costumes, mountaineer’s music and wooden rural architecture. Morning departure to Zakopane, stop at Krosnica, rafts embarkation in Katy, trip down the Dunajec river through the Pieniny Gorge and along the Polish-Slovak border, arrival in Szczawnica, disembarkation, guided visit of the Chocholow village with its wooden houses, continue to Zakopane, lunch in restaurant, guided tour of Zakopane, cable car ride to Mt Kasprowy, drive back to Cracow, dinner and accomodation in Cracow.
